One of our teens requested seeing anything about the Military. So well gladly went out of our way a bit to Star Park; located just a block away from the beach and Ocean Boulevard. This half-acre park offers benches, trees and various historical military installations. The annual Memorial Day celebration takes place here.

The yearly service includes an hour-long salute, a Presentation of the Colors, the playing of the National Anthem, and guest speakers. The park also honors Coronado’s fallen warriors.
