On June 2011 Jenny & Molly Cooper arranged an aerial flight for Armando Moreno – the creator of the C-O-R-O-N-A-D-O sand dunes. Armando was a city employee and created the 'sand sculpture' back in 1988, but had never seen it from the air! until now" WOW!...
In 1988 Armando was hired to cover up the Coronado Beach Sea Weed from recent storms. He decided to be creative and write something. It took a couple of years but what an incredible piece of art!
