Thank you Cyclovia! Encinitas in N San Diego was temporarily closed off to motor-vehicle access along a portion of Coast Highway 101 to allow cyclists, pedestrians and other non-motorized travelers to enjoy the roadway without cars. NEW Mission Bay Visitor Center

We enjoyed stopping here on our latest Mission Bay Bike Tour! Newly renovated and re-dubbed as the Mission Bay Beach Club, the iconic Mission Bay Visitors Information Center has returned to its original purpose as a gathering space for locals and tourists with the opening of an all-vegan coffee shop called Superbloom, a gift shop with lots more to come...

Hawk Lady is Back!

We weren't sure if the lovely Bird Lady would return after the remodel of the Hotel del Coronado - but she did! On our Coronado Bike Tour today even got to talk to her and learn her name as well as today's hawk's name! They did a great job keeping the seagulls away from those dining outside...
